What is best material of fire rated chipboard?

The raw materials for fire rated chipboard production include wood or wood fiber materials, adhesives and additives. The former accounts for more than 90% of the dry weight of the board. Most of the wood raw materials are from felling, small diameter timber (diameter is usually less than 8 cm), cutting residues and wood processing residues. Processing into flake, strip, needle, granular wood chips, shavings, wood wire, sawdust, etc., called broken material. In addition, non wood materials such as plant stalks and seed husks can also be made into boards, and their names are often preceded by the names of the materials used, such as hemp stalk (particleboard), bagasse (particleboard), etc. Urea formaldehyde resin adhesive and phenolic resin adhesive are widely used. The former has light fat color, low curing temperature and good bonding effect on fire rated chipboard made of various plant materials such as wheat straw and rice husk. The hot pressing temperature is 195-210 ℃. It is widely used in production, but it has the disadvantage of releasing free formaldehyde to pollute the environment. The shape of fire rated chipboard is the decisive factor of the quality of particleboard, so the qualified particleboard must be manufactured first.

The particleboard of wood processing residue can be used as the core layer of particleboard after reprocessing. The surface shavings are mainly produced by special processing of high-grade residues (wood stump, board edge, etc.) in cutting or processing. The length, thickness and width of particleboard are different according to the production method and the core layer or surface layer. There are chippers, re crushers, grinders and fiber separators. The cutting methods include cutting, cutting and crushing. In order to obtain high-quality particleboard, it is necessary to go through the process of primary crushing, grinding, re crushing and screening.

The results show that the initial moisture content of the particle is about 40-60%, the moisture content of the core layer is 2-4%, and that of the surface layer is 5-9%. Therefore, it is necessary to use a dryer to dry the wood chips with different initial moisture content to achieve uniform final moisture content. The dried particlesare then mixed with liquid glue and additives. Generally, 8-12 g of glue is applied to the surface area of the particle per square meter. The particles with a diameter of 8-35 μ m are formed by the spray nozzle, and a thin and uniform continuous adhesive layer is formed on the surface of the particle. After sizing, the particleboard is paved into a slab with a thickness of 10-20 times that of the finished product. It can be pre pressed and hot pressed. The preloading pressure is 0.2-2 MPa, which is carried out by flat press or roller press. China poplar chips is the best raw material for the fire rated chipboard.
