What are the factors that affect the production of particleboard veneer

First, the surface characteristics of particle board

Large surface porosity: Particleboard is made of veneer, and its surface layer maintains the characteristics of the wood texture and structure of the wood chord. Wood is a porous material, and it is not all made of wood. Generally speaking In the past, the proportion of voids on the chord surface is quite large, with a void ratio of about 30% -80%. Due to the existence of voids, it brings a lot of difficulties to the veneer decoration and coating, and directly affects the quality of the veneer.

Second, the effect of surface porosity and unevenness on the quality of surface decoration

During veneering, there is often a lack of glue at the surface of the duct grooves. In addition, the penetration and uneven coating of the adhesive have low adhesive strength.

The temperature and humidity of the outside air changes, and the open duct groove is repeatedly opened and closed, so that the decorative material on it is repeatedly stretched and shrunk, and finally cracks are caused.

When coating with paint, the paint penetrates into the voids, causing paint loss and uneven coating.

When the paint is forced to dry, the air in the gap is heated to expand and easily cause defects such as bubbles and pinholes.
